Hands On: Anonimo Epurato
This year at Baselworld, Anonimo introduced the Epurato collection. With this collection Anonimo tries to reach watch lovers of the brand with a dress watch which I found very beautiful.
Epurato takes its name from its delicate and restrained curves. Compared to the Nautilo and Militare collection, Epurato has a 3 mm less thickness. For more specifications read here were we wrote about the introduction of this collection.
The Anonimo Epurato collection comes in three version: Epurato Blu Intenso, Epurato Imperial Green and Epurato Bronze Sunray Dial.
Even if at Baselworld this year I saw a lot of novelties with a green dial, which by the way looks very nice, my favorite is the Blu Intenso.
The watch has a 42 mm case, and the crown is positioned in a more classic way at 3 o'clock compared to the Nautilo at 4 o’clock and Militare at 12. The applique indexes and the numerals alternate among 12h00, 04 and 08 with the characteristic triangle reading of the brand. This ensures a perfect readability of the date placed at 6h00.
The hands are with Swiss Super-LumiNova and the case is waterproof to 50 meters.
The cushion case, mounted with a fluted bezel plays subtly with alternate satin and shiny surfaces.
The watch is powered by a Sellita SW200-1 and it can be seen through a transparent back. The power reserve is 38 hours.
Another thing that I like about this collection is that it has a new system of interchangeability bracelets and you can play with colors depending on the season very easy.
With prices from CHF 2,290 for the Epurato Blu Intenso and CHF 2,990 for theother two version, the Epurato collection could catch the eye of every watch lover.
