Mido Belluna Mysterious Date
Mido celebrates romance with the new Belluna Mysterious Date. A women's timepiece graced with a silvered wave guilloche-style dial, whose centre features a date display never before used by the Le Locle-based watchmaker. The passing of the days is visible through the openwork dial which reveals 31 apertures: the date is shown in black while the other days of the calendar appear in pink. This subtle and colourful display, rarely found in watchmaking, is enhanced by the stunning brilliance of twelve diamonds set around the dial's circumference. This delicately worked exterior houses a latest-generation automatic movement: the Caliber 80, providing the model with exceptional autonomy of up to 80 hours' power reserve. Imbued with an aura of mystery, the Belluna Mysterious Date is the essential accessory for those secret rendezvous...
Inaugurated in 1871 to promote the arts and science, London's Royal Albert Hall is now one of the most famous concert halls in the United Kingdom. Built in a style true to the Victorian era, this huge red brick monument consists of a series of concentric circles. Its curvaceous, rounded architecture is dominated by an impressive central glass dome. A true symphony of shapes and materials, the Belluna collection echoes this superb building. Its pure and harmonious lines give it classic, timeless elegance.
With its new date display system, the Belluna Mysterious Date marks a first for watchmakers Mido. Thirty-one apertures surround the centre of its superb silver wave guilloche-style dial. Each of them reveals an elegantly inscribed day of the month in pink, while the current date appears in black. This unique face of curves and subtlety is graced by twelve diamonds, for a total of 0.093 carats, adding a sumptuous sparkle around the perimeter of the dial. The dial itself is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides for enhanced readability. The 33mm round case in polished steel and the leaf-shaped hour and minute hands add an extra touch of refinement to this model.
The exquisitely wrought dial of the Belluna Mysterious Date conceals an automatic movement at the cutting edge of watchmaking innovation, the Caliber 80, providing exceptional autonomy of up to 80 hours of power reserve. This finely decorated Elabore-grade movement, with its oscillating weight graced with Geneva stripes and the Mido logo, can be admired through a transparent caseback. The Belluna Mysterious Date comes with a pink genuine calfskin strap - a fresh and feminine colour that echoes the points of the dial that serve to indicate the date, or with a polished stainless steel bracelet that harmoniously enhances the elegant polished steel round case. Both are fitted with a polished stainless steel folding clasp.
This model is water-resistant up to a pressure of 5 bars (50 m / 165 ft). Three other versions complete the range.
