Omega X Swatch Bioceramic MoonSwatch (Price, Pictures and Specifications)
This is an interesting collaboration between Swatch and Omega, which is the first one between these iconic brands.
For this interpretation of the Moonwatch, both brands took the inspiration from space, and they created a collection of 11 Swatch watches named after planetary bodies.
All the eleven Omega X Swatch Bioceramic MoonSwatch timepieces are in Bioceramic (patented by Swatch), which is a mix of ceramic and a material derived from castor oil.
Although this Omega X Swatch Bioceramic MoonSwatch looks like the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch, the colours pink and pale blue of the case lets you know that this watch is something else.
The watch has all the design features like the Moonwatch: an asymmetrical case, the tachymeter scale with dot over ninety and the Speedmaser subdials.
With this watch, Swatch is offering to the fans of the legendary Moonwatch an affordable watch with all the characteristics as the original one.
The MoonSwatch comes in different colours that you rarely see. Each watch features its own mission statement, has the logo Omega X Swatch on the dial and also on the crown. On the back of the watch, on the battery cover, each one features a depiction of its planet.
The Omega X Swatch Bioceramic MoonSwatch comes with a spacesuit-ready Velcro strap.
